The vision of Community Church is the expression of our values, philosophy, theological identity and goals. The vision reflects our understanding of our calling by God. We are a transforming community that is loving God and loving others.
We value relationships over religion and authenticity over conformity. Tradition is keen, but not necessarily Biblical. We identify relationships with God and our fellow man to be the arena in which spiritual growth takes place. Ministry areas and facilities exist for the end result of fostering and enabling Godly relationships to form and develop.
DISCIPLES MAKING DISCIPLES
We are a church seeking to further the message of Jesus Christ and the fellowship of His people. We want to bring the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ to those who do not yet know Him (Romans 10:15). We also develop groups that meet throughout the week to foster growth in our faith and love for Christ. These environments provide a safe place where people can love and serve each other.
“Come as you are, we’ll grow together.” We value genuine people beginning their Christian walk with us as they are now, then continually growing closer to Jesus Christ in their lifestyle, relationships and understanding of God’s Word. Come as you are and become the man or woman God has called you to be.
“Ministry only happens in relationships.” We identify relationships with God and our fellow man to be the arena which spiritual growth takes place. Facilities and ministry areas exist for the end result of fostering and enabling Godly relationships to form and develop. We encourage everyone to get involved in a community group to foster personal relationships with others to help each other grow in their walk with Christ.
