We encourage you to make joining a group a priority in 2020.  Groups study together, learn together and grow together.  They provide a source of encouragement, support, friendship and prayer.  Other groups may be added throughout the year, so please check back here periodically to see our current offerings.

    Topic: The Chosen

Join us for the 8 week video series The Chosen. This series covers the early ministry of Jesus as he begins to call his disciples to follow him. The series helps us consider the character of the men and women Jesus drew to himself and we can potentially see ourselves in their journey. We will read the scripture account of each series, watch the video and talk about we we saw. Come join us!  We invite all to join as they can.

For more information please contact Shelly Dobson - nextsteps@mysbc.church or Jon Beggs - groups@mysbc.church.

Christians today live in a world that is activity-heavy and relationship-light. The result is spiritual emptiness. We struggle to know what God wants FROM us and FOR us... and we're unsure what a relationship with God really looks like.

But that was never God's idea. HIS idea of faith is not about rules or religion- it's about relationship. That's where God tells us to start. In Romans 12, God gives us a clear picture of what Christians should look like at the root level.  If you are ready to move from "in" to "all in" then you are ready to become a Romans 12 Christian. The next steps of your true spirituality start here.
