LEAD PASTOR

I never dreamed of being a pastor, but I cannot imagine doing anything else now. When the Lord Jesus Christ grabbed a hold of my heart when I was 22 years old, I had no idea how he would transform my life. By his grace, he has been faithful to disciple me through the body of Christ, deepen me through my loving wife and children, humble me by serving overseas in the mission field, and bless me through the local church here in Sturgeon Bay.

I am thankful to have had the opportunity to study music and be a public school teacher for several years in Colorado and Texas. I am grateful for my time to study God’s Word at Dallas Theological Seminary (ThM, Historical Theology) and then teach and train pastors overseas. I am overjoyed now to shepherd the flock here at SBCC through his Word, prayer, and helping bear one another’s burdens together as a church family.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, running, watching movies with our family, and being outdoors.
